Islepoll is currently being set up as a worldwide panel of members comprising island residents based in any island location and drawn from all age groups (18 and over) and socio-economic backgrounds.
Our aim is for Islepoll to eventually be the world’s leading island research network delivering a wide range of quantitative and qualitative feedback on how island residents view significant current and future world and regional issues. This feedback can then support the decision-making activities of island-based organisations in the public, private and third sectors as well as relevant international organisations. Critical issues cover such areas as climate change trends, healthcare delivery, IT and digital advances etc. In due course, Islepoll will also inform our regular ISLESTAT Reviews which we will be produced from this May onwards.
Our vision is for Islepoll generated data to be a valued island-based resource identifying how an increasingly fragile world in relation to economic, social and environmental challenges is impacting specifically on island communities.
If you are interested in becoming a panel member and are aged 18 or over, do get in touch with us. We will get back to you when we are ready to launch the research resource.
